As part of the Neezhoor Grama Panchayat Annual Plan for 2026-27, the inauguration of the breakfast scheme for school children will be officially officiated by Grama Panchayat President Mr. Cherian K. Jose. ⭐
Grama Panchayat Vice President Mrs. Sreelekha Manilal will preside over the function. Health and Education Standing Committee Chairperson Mr. Stephen P.K. will distribute the first meals. Ward Member Mrs. Jancy Jomon and other various ward members will deliver felicitation speeches. ⭐
Neezhoor (02/09/2026): As part of making financial transactions of local self-government institutions more transparent, fast, and efficient, Neezhoor Grama Panchayat has achieved a notable milestone by implementing the K-SMART Electronic Fund Management System (KEFT) mode for the first time in Kottayam district. ⭐
The KEFT mode in the K-SMART system is utilized to handle various financial transactions, fund transfers, and bill processing of the grama panchayat more efficiently. This eliminates the need to wait by writing bank cheques for payments.
Panchayat President Mr. Cherian K. Jose stated that implementing this system integrated with the K-SMART platform ensures transparency and timeliness in financial transactions. ⭐
