A Panchayat is a collective body of elected representatives formed to manage the administrative affairs of Panchayat Raj institutions. For a Grama Panchayat, it is the primary committee that implements the decisions of the Grama Sabha and handles day-to-day administration. President: The head of the Panchayat. They preside over meetings and oversee the overall functioning of the Panchayat.Vice President: Discharges the duties of the President in their absence.Ward Members: Elected representatives chosen by the people from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Formed to streamline the decisions and development activities of the Panchayat.
