Neezhoor Grama Panchayat is a region in Kerala that preserves ancient traditions and rural heritage. Situated in the northern part of Kottayam district, bordering Ernakulam district, Neezhoor Grama Panchayat is a landscape enriched with streams and paddy fields.
It is bordered on the north by Elanji panchayat, on the south by Kaduthuruthy and Kuravilangad panchayats, on the west by Mulakkulam and Kaduthuruthy panchayats, and on the east by Marangattupally and Uzhavoor panchayats. Neezhoor Panchayat came into existence on August 15, 1953, incorporating the areas of Neezhoor, Kattampack, Thiruvanampadi Pazhuthuruthu, Marangoli, and Kanjiramattam, which were previously part of Kaduthuruthy village.
