As per Notification No. LSGD/PD/24269/2024-EER1 dated 06.09.2024 published by the Director of Local Self-Government Department (Rural) in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2888 dated 07.09.2024, the number of seats to be filled through direct election in Njeezhoor Grama Panchayat of Kottayam district has been fixed as 15. On that basis, draft proposals for dividing the said Grama Panchayat into as many constituencies and delimiting the boundaries of such constituencies were published vide No. SDC 376/2024/SDC dated 18.11.2024, allowing time up to 04.12.2024 for submitting objections and suggestions regarding the said proposals. Since the objections and suggestions so received have been enquired into, the complainants heard in person, and the same considered and disposed of, the final order has been issued dividing Njeezhoor Grama Panchayat into 15 constituencies and delimiting their boundaries as shown in the schedule attached herewith, under Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994."
