TB-Free Panchayat 2025 - District Level Award
Through efficient intervention in the tuberculosis eradication process planned and implemented during the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, Neezhoor Grama Panchayat succeeded in achieving the Bronze category in 2023, the Silver category in 2024, and the Gold category in 2025. Gold category awards are presented to local self-government institutions when tuberculosis is confirmed in only one person per thousand of the rural population. For Neezhoor, while up to 17 patients could have been affected, having confirmation in only 8 individuals currently is a proud achievement.
